Following previous two years run we are organising Back to Back event in 2019. Event will have a following format: - 19th October - run from Westport to Achill, - 20th October - run from Achill to Westport. Both days are limited to 50 runners, and you can sign up for one or two days.
For all who are doing B2B run, we have secured B&B deal for 19th October with Hotel in Achill (Óstán Oileán Acla), which is 1 night Bed & Breakfast and 2 course Dinner for €50pp sharing or €70pp single. Day 1 run - Westport2Achill - numbers collection in Castlecourt Hotel from 8am with run starting @9am. Bus/mini bus will be available in Achill to bring competitors back to Westport. Drop bag will be in place for those staying overnight in Achill Island, and those who want changing clothes to be available at the finish. there will be only one bus coming back to Westport that evening - time tbc yet.
Day 2 run - Achill2Wesport - numbers collection in Óstán Oileán Acla Hotel in Achill from 8am. For those doing only day 2 - bus transfer will be available from Westport to the start line, leaving Westport @ 7ish.
Both days runs have only 2 control points/feed stations which are Newport and Mullraney, therefore competitors will have to carry sufficient amount of food/water in between them!
